CELEX distinguishes four types of verbs. The first three (full verb, modal and auxiliary are the same as in the German application; the fourth is the group of impersonal verbs which have only one (impersonal) subject, `het'. Compare French ``il pleut'' (`pleuvoir').

Note that many verbs are tagged with double or triple tags because they can have two or three values.
