This is a language specific morphological feature, since Swedish, like other Scandinavian languages, possesses a special passive suffix (`-s'). (There also exists a composite or periphrastic passive.) The feature takes the values active and passive and is applicable to finite, supine and infinite forms.
Attribute | Value | Sw. example | Sw. tag |
Voice | aktiv | skrev | vb-past-act |
passiv | skrevs | vb-past-s-pas | |
NB: The features Tense and Voice are realised in just that order; thus:
vb(finite) | past | pass |
` kör' | `-de' | `-s' |
