In Romance language practices (French, Italian,
etc.), Numeral constitutes
a subclass of Pronoun and Pronominal Adjective.
The Numeral class is subdivided into cardinal
and ordinal:
- cardinal indicates absolute numeral quantity: `zero', `cento',
`mille';
- ordinal indicates order and classification: `primo', `secondo'.
