The notion of frame and frame set has been designed to describe verb subcategorisation. However, these notions as represented are not specific to verbs, and could easily be extended to deal with the subcategorisation of other categories. Some place could be added in the descriptive elements to express the probabilities of some information that cannot be fully described by simple Boolean values (e.g. optionality -- if we consider that, in context, most of the subcategorised elements are optional, but some are more optional than others). Preference attributes for some information could also be added.
